I reached out to a few people, asking for feedback on a free SEO guide I made.
Not to sell. Just to see if it was helpful.
Some were kind. One person even said they’d actually download and use it.
But one response hit hard:
“Why would anyone review something this basic? Just run it through ChatGPT.”
That stayed with me.
Truth is, I do regret sending that message. It felt impersonal. I see that now.
But I learned. About tone. About timing. About how people read intention.
Next time, I’ll do it differently.
If you’ve ever tried something, got it wrong, and kept going anyway. I’d love to hear how you handled it!
